Full Time Cardiac Stress RN | HeartCare Imaging

This cardiac stress RN will provide care to patients in a cardiology clinical setting. They will prepare patients for testing and perform exercise and pharmacologic stress studies in conjunction with the Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography Technologists under the supervision of a physician in a state of the art setting.

Responsibilities and requirements:*

• Primary responsibilities are to perform 12-lead ECG treadmill and pharmacological stress tests;
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and abnormalities
• Knowledge of treatment for cardiac rhythms and abnormalities

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in adult cardiac exercise testing and 2 years in adult cardiology (inpatient or ambulatory setting) preferred; ACLS certified

• Job knowledge:*
  • Interpret real time 12-lead ECG for ischemic changes and arrhythmias.
  • Exhibits knowledge of treadmill equipment
  • Proves knowledge of all quality control procedures performed in the laboratory
  • Intravenous Catheter placement
• Licensure:* Current licensure by the State of Florida as Registered Nurse
