Job Description:

 PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Tampa, Florida

In need of a self-reliant, experienced NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST for two cardiology practices in Tampa, Florida. Independently performs all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations. Duties include the acquiring and processing of patient studies, setting up reading for physicians, maintaining accurate and complete daily records, as well as close correspondence with the home office.


– Must be certified by the ARRT and/or NMTCB

  • – Must have a current license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Florida
  • – Carry Professional Liability Insurance
  • – Prefer at least two years of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • – Certified Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (maintain current at all times)


PRN-Cardiac Stress Nurse- Gainesville, Florida

This cardiac stress RN will provide care to cardiac patients in an ambulatory setting. They will prepare patients for testing. Also, perform nuclear exercise and pharmacologic testing and stress studies under the supervision of a physician in a state of the art setting.
Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Minimum 4-days per month;
  • Provide additional coverage as required for nuclear medicine stress lab coverage;
  • Primary responsibilities are to perform 12-lead ECG treadmill stress tests;
  • Secondary responsibilities are to provide RN PTO coverage for the nuclear medicine stress lab (treadmill and pharmacological stress testing);
  • Perform 12-lead ECG treadmill stress tests, and stress echocardiography.

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in adult cardiac exercise testing and 2 years in adult cardiology (inpatient or ambulatory setting) required; ACLS certified
Job knowledge:

  • Exhibits knowledge of treadmill equipment
  • Proves knowledge of all quality control procedures performed in the laboratory

Licensure: Current licensure by the State of Florida as Registered Nurse or Advanced Registered Nurse Practioner.

Required license or certification:

  • Current Licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Registered Nurse
