Robert “Bob” Stilley has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of HeartCare Imaging, Inc. since its inception in 1998. Bringing over twenty years of experience in the Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiology Industries, HCI has become a leader in providing diagnostic imaging services to several of the Nation’s leading universities, physician providers and hospitals.
In prior tenure, Bob was an original partner in Summit World Trade. Serving as Vice President and President of various Summit Companies from 1986 to 1998, Mr. Stilley was instrumental in Summit’s successful joint ventures with Hitachi Medical Systems of Japan and SMV of Buc, France. These joint venture companies revolutionized the diagnostic imaging marketplace through the introduction of products such as ‘Open’ MRI.
Mr. Stilley is serving his third five-year term on the Board of Trustees of Florida Atlantic University. He was elected Chair for the FAU Board, and served in that position from January of 2011 through January 2013. Bob currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Jupiter Medical Center. Bob also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Florida Cancer Center Leadership Council, as well as Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation.
Mr. Stilley is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Technology. Mr. Stilley is a past president of the Martin County Council of 100. He is an active and dedicated volunteer as a coach for local youth sports. Bob is a Eucharistic Minister and Finance Committee Member for St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Bob received his degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He resides in Tequesta, Florida with his wife and daughter.
MaryLynn Magar is currently the Vice President and General Manager of HeartCare Imaging. Having been elected in 2012 as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, MaryLynn actively represents areas of Martin and Palm Beach Counties. MaryLynn serves on numerous committees in several capacities, including Vice Chair of the Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee and Deputy House Majority Whip.
MaryLynn’s background brings a depth of business experience to HCI, along with considerable sales and marketing success. As the Southeastern and Government Sales Manager for Alps Electric, MaryLynn Implemented GSA Sales, Large Federal Government Contracts, and setup a reseller channel for Computer Peripheral Products. With FreBon Corporation and later Net2000, MaryLynn was the Regional Director negotiating State Contracts within the southeast to implement Distance Learning, Telemedicine and Visual Conferencing Solutions.
MaryLynn was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but moved to Vienna, Virginia at an early age, earning her BS in Business Marketing from Radford University. Since relocating to Martin County, she has been a leader in the community serving as President North Passage HOA Board, State Committee Woman for the Republican Party, All Saints Catholic School Advisory Board Member, St. Jude Catholic Church Eucharistic Minister and a dedicated wife and busy Softball Mom.
Mr. James Avery is the Regional Vice President for HeartCare Imaging. With over twelve years with the company, James brings an extraordinary amount of clinical knowledge and leadership to the organization. Mr. Avery is responsible for the management of HCI’s Northeast accounts as well as new business development efforts throughout the region.
As Regional Vice President, James has direct responsibilities that include logistics, capital equipment sales and service negotiations, personnel management and staffing solutions. Mr. Avery also heads Nuclear Medicine and Echo Sonography Training for HCI as well as Laboratory Accreditation Applications.
James started his career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and received his degree from Coppin State University with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. James received his Nuclear Medicine training form the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. James holds several state licenses in Nuclear Medicine and has board certification in Nuclear Medicine through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. James is a former president of the Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist section in Maryland and has been instrumental in merging the Baltimore and Washington chapters. James is still active with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC).
Ms. Jackie Algood joined HeartCare Imaging, Inc. in 2005 and has served in a variety of capacities, most recently as Human Resources Manager.
Prior to her joining HCI, she worked for Nicklaus Companies’ Design Group assisting with global client relations. Ms. Algood was a Legal Assistant for PhyMatrix Companies in the 1990’s, where she assisted with the corporate filings and mergers and acquisitions.
Jackie Algood is originally from Paterson, New Jersey. She has lived in Palm Beach County since 1978. Jackie is a graduate of Cooper’s Academy of Court Reporting, the Legal Assistants program at Florida Atlantic University, and is a licensed Realtor. Jackie resides in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband, John D. Algood.
Neil has over thirty years of experience in all phases of business as Owner, Vice President, Director and Consultant in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments. Neil served as Director, US Marketing for Mitel, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL. and administered a six million dollar budget in support of one hundred million dollars in revenue.
Neil also served with MCI and in his role as National Account Manager, growing revenue 45%. In his role as Director, Business Development, FreBon International, Neil was on the team responsible for FreBon’s success in obtaining eight State video equipment and service contracts as well as other phases of FreBon’s business development prior to its sale to Net2000. Neil joined Net2000 as an Independent Consultant helping craft their penetration into the Florida Video Education system.
Mr. Tommy Akin was selected by HeartCare Imaging in 2004 to spearhead a project for the University of Florida Health system designed to bring cardiac and vascular ultrasound into the underserved rural areas of North Florida. By 2007, Tommy acquired IAC accreditation for the Outpatient Echocardiography department of UF Health. Since then, he has managed the UF Health Outpatient Cardiac and Vascular Laboratory and has consulted on more than 15 other accreditations during his tenure. Currently Tommy manages the clinical accounts in North Florida, with duties that range from personnel management and stafﬁng to capital equipment acquisitions.
After graduating from Santa Fe College with a degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Tommy began his career in 2002 as an adjunct instructor of echocardiography at his alma mater. In 2003, Tommy became the lead sonographer of a private cardiology practice near Orlando, Florida, where he gained the experience necessary to become marketable to HeartCare Imaging.
When he is not on assignment for HeartCare Imaging or installing sculpture exhibitions for his partner, Erin Curry, he is either playing ultimate frisbee in Gainesville, Florida or volunteering as an assistant coach for the youth ultimate frisbee league in his community.
Mrs. Stacey Green joined Heart Care Imaging in 2010 as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the University of Florida Health System. After moving out of state for a brief period of time, she rejoined the team in 2016 at our home office in Tequesta.
Stacey graduated with a degree in Nuclear Medicine from Santa Fe College in 2007. She has over nine years of experience in nuclear cardiology including cardiac PET. Stacey holds state licenses in Florida and Texas, and has board certification in Nuclear Medicine through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists and the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board.
Stacey was born and raised in north central Florida. She relocated to Houston, Texas in 2013 where she managed the nuclear department at a private cardiology practice. She currently resides in Jupiter, Florida with her husband, Colt Green, and their dogs.
Chelsey joined the Heart Care Imaging team in 2017 to advance the companies national marketing and sales campaign as a development manager. She is a proud graduate of The Florida State University College of Social Science and Public Policy. Prior to joining HCI’s team, Ms. Lucas worked for the Florida Legislature where she put her education and knowledge of public policy and government to good use.
Currently, she sits on the Palm Beach North Young Professionals Council, she is a member of The James Madison Institute Fellowship program for the second year in a row and is a member of the Palm Beach Junior League. Chelsey is a Jupiter native who is passionate about business, travel and good food.
